This weekend was the first real weekend of Spring - and we got to spend it doing some of our favorite activities. Saturday morning, I made a pit stop by a few community yard sales. The hubs coached two flag football games at the park (both of which they won!). Brock loves watching his daddy coach football.

After the games, we walked over to the Nolensville Buttercup Festival where we had BBQ and ran into several friends. Made a quick visit into my favorite antiques store
Three French Hens for a new can of chalk paint. Then home for naps all around.
Sunday, I had a ladies outing with friends for a pedicure, while Britt enjoyed a long day of golf with some three of his good friends.
To wrap the weekend up, Britt and I have made the decision to cut dairy out of our diets for the next 30 days (and possibly beyond). We've wrestled back and forth with this for some time now and finally decided it would be a good thing for us to try. But, since we both love dairy so much, we decided to take Sunday as our last day to enjoy some of our favorite dairy items before cutting them all out completely. Britt had a big juicy cheeseburger, while I went for a round of cheese dip. Then we topped it off with a few bites of ice cream cake. It felt like our own little "Fat Tuesday"...or really "Fat Sunday".
